15.3. Fast-forwarding and rewinding
Press the REW or FFWD buttons to fast forward or rewind the tape.
Press the STOP/EJ
button if you have reached the end or the beginning of the tape.
Do not switch immediately from fast-forwarding or rewinding to playing. Stop
the tape first to protect the tape from wear.
15.4. Recording on the cassette
Press the REC button to start recording on the cassette.
Press the PAUSE button to temporarily pause recording.
Press the STOP/EJ
16. Recording on a USB/MicroSD storage device
You can record onto a USB storage device or a MicroSD card from all sources (CD,
cassette, radio).
16.1. Recording from a CD
You can find out more about handling a CD and the playback functions from sec-
tion "14. Playing back CDs/USB/MicroSD storage devices" on page 57.
Set the operating mode switch to CD.
Insert a CD.
Insert a USB storage device into the USB port or insert a MicroSD card into the
MICRO SD slot.
If required, select the desired track on the CD.
Start the recording on the USB storage device or the MicroSD card by pressing
and holding the REC button until REC appears on the display.
Immediately start CD playback:
To end the recording, press the DEL button. REC no longer appears on the dis-
play.
