The product cannot withstand splashes of water. Do not use the product near a bathtub,

come into contact with water. Do not immerse the product in water. If water does get into
or on the product, turn the product off immediately and contact our customer service
department.
Keep the product away from heat, areas where the temperature is relatively high, and heat

sources such as ovens.
Do not cover the product when it is on. Do not place clothing, pillows, blankets or other

objects on or against the product. This may cause a fire hazard, electric shock, personal
injury or damage to the product.
Do not insert fingers or metal objects into the openings.

2.4 Electrical
Do not disassemble, repair or restore the product. Doing so may cause damage to the

product. For your own safety, these parts should only be replaced by authorized service
personnel. Always send the product to a service center for repairs to prevent damage and
personal injury.
Before connecting the product, ensure that the mains voltage indicated on the rating plate
•
matches that of your mains power supply.
Do not connect the product to an external timer, an external control system or to an
•
extension cord.
Check both power cord and plug regularly for signs of damage or wear, and if there is
•
any, do not use the product and have the power cord and/or plug replaced or repaired by
authorized service personnel.
If the power fails during use, immediately turn off the product and unplug the power cord.

Do not pull on the cord to unplug the product. Do not move the product by pulling the cord
•
or twist the cord. Be careful not to trip over the cable and make sure the cable is not kinked,
twisted, or stuck. Do not place the cable on hot surfaces or near oil. Do not leave the cable
hanging over the edge of a table or countertop.
