5. Before starting the equipment
5.1 Fitting the battery (Fig. 4)
Press the pushlock button (13) of the battery as
shown in Fig. 4 and push the battery (12) into the
mount provided (11). Make sure that the pushlock
button engages properly! To remove the battery,
proceed in reverse order!
6. Operation
6.1 On/Off switch (Fig. 3/Item 8)
Switching on:
•
Press the On/Off switch (8).
•
The cordless fan will then come on at the
lowest level.
Switching off :
•
Press the On/Off switch (8) again.
6.2 Adjusting the fan level (Fig. 3/Item 10)
•
The fan has three setting levels for individual
adjustment to a particular situation.
•
The cordless fan always switches on at the
lowest level.
•
To raise the fan level, press on the fan level
selector (9).
•
The fan level will go up one level with each
press.
•
The current fan level is shown by the fan level
indicator (10).
6.3 Adjusting the fan position
•
You can adjust the fan to any position by
turning the fan head.
•
To do so, undo the lock knob (7) on the right-
hand side of the device.
•
Now adjust the fan to the position you want
and retighten the lock knob (7).

6.4 Fastening the cordless fan
Using the various recesses in the bottom of the
foot you can quickly fasten the cordless fan in a
, 0.7A
variety of ways.
•
Hook (Fig. 6/Item 6): With the hook you can
fasten the cordless fan quickly and securely
to a handrail, for example, or to scaffolding.
•
Serrated edge (Fig. 7/Item 5): Using the
serrated edge you can hang the cordless fan
on a nail or the like. The fine ribbing is ideal
for balancing the cordless fan.
•
Fastening eyelet (Fig. 8/Item 4): Using the
fastening eyelet and a matching pan-head
screw you can hang the cordless fan on the
wall.
6.5 Charging the Lithium-Ion battery (not
included)
The corresponding instructions can be found
in the original operating instructions for your
charger.
6.6 Battery capacity indicator (Fig. 5 / item
14)
Press the battery capacity indicator switch (15).
The battery capacity indicator (14) shows the
charge status of the battery using 3 LEDs.
All 3 LEDs lit:
The battery is fully charged.
2 or 1 LED(s) lit:
The battery has an adequate remaining charge.
1 LED fl ashing:
The battery is empty, recharge the battery.
All LEDs fl ashing:
The temperature of the battery is too low. Remove
the battery from the device and leave it at room
temperature for a day. If the error occurs again,
this means that the battery has been completely
depthdischarged and is defective. Remove the
battery from the device. Never use or charge a
defective battery.
