VERIFYING ACCURACY OF LASER LEVELS
X-PLANE TILT
Position the instrument on the floor as shown and turn on the X-Plane
laser beam (FIG. 1). Mark two locations (a, b) on the wall, where a
is perpendicular to the window of the horizontal laser and b is H ft
from point a. Rotate the instrument 180° and project the beam back
through point a. mark point c on the wall, the maximum distance
between b and c is shown in the HORIZONTAL BEAM TILT table.
To check the horizontal beam tilt of the other two horizontal lines ,
rotate the instrument 90° and repeat the above steps (FIG. 2).
