SAFETY INFORMATIONS
Keep children and other persons away from the working area.
Do not allow children to play with this tool or its packaging.
Do not use the tool if parts are missing or damaged.
Use the tool for the intended purpose only.
Never place the tool on the vehicle battery. There is a risk of a short circuit.
Always wear gloves and safety goggles when working with this tool kit.
Make sure you have a secure and non-slip footing when working with this tool set.
Make sure the tool is properly assembled.
Do not overtighten the spindle or use excessive force as this can damage both the tool and the
component.
The tool is not suitable for impact wrenches. Using an impact wrench can rupture tool and
gear parts, and flying fragments can cause injury.
Always grease the spindle threads before using the tool.
This manual serves as a brief guide and does not replace a workshop manual. Always refer to
the vehicle-specific service literature, particularly the technical data such as torque values and
instructions for disassembly/assembly, etc..
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle unwanted materials instead of disposing of them as waste. Packaging should be
sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
USE
1. Remove oil pan, housing bolts and all
components required for separating.
2. Grease the spindle thread and insert
the pressure spindle (6) into the
internal thread of the bridge (1).
3. Insert the short and long bolts (5+7)
into the bridge (1).
4. Fasten the adapter plate to the
underside of the housing by using
three screws (8) as shown in the figure.
The mounting bracket on the adapter
plate (2) must be mounted pointing
away from the gearbox housing.
5. Position the thrust piece (4) and install
the pre-assembled separating tool. The
long bolt (5) is mounted on the housing
and the short bolt (7) on the mounting
bracket of the adapter plate (2).
