Screw Stock Removal - (Fig. 1)
Broken Bolt (Machine Screw) - (Fig. 2)
Burnishing
• Insert the Grabit® into the drill with burnisher end
down.
• Set drill for reverse (anti-clockwise).
• Place into the centre of the damaged screw, slowly
clean inside the screw head until smooth. Do not use
to drill a hole.
Removal
• Flip the tool in the chuck so you have the remover end
showing.
• Maintain reverse setting (anti-clockwise).
• Place remover end of tool into now smooth screw
head.
• Apply firm downward pressure, drill at slow speed.
Apply lowest level of power to drill.
• Remover end of the Grabit® will thread into the screw
and remove.
• The screw is removed cleanly with no residue.
Free Spinning Screws
• Wedge screw to stop rotation, then proceed as for
normal screw removal.

Please use only Trend original spare parts and
accessories.
The accessory has been designed to operate over a long
period of time with minimum of maintenance. Continual
satisfactory operation depends upon proper tool care
and regular cleaning.

• Regularly clean swarf off tool
Lubrication
• Lubricate with oil after use
Storage
• Always return product to its storage case after use
