must never remain plugged in
without supervision. Unplug it
when you are not using it. Use
your heating plaid only with the
electrical plug provided. Never
let anything drop or insert any
object into any openings. Never
use this device in a room where
aerosols (sprays) are used in a
room or where oxygen is being
administered. To disconnect the
unit turn the knob to the "OFF"
position, then remove the plug
from the mains. Do not use safe-
ty pins, do not scratch the heat-
ing plaid with a sharp object and
do not beat it with a blunt object.
Do not attach the plaid heating
blanket with pins or other met-
al objects. Do not expose your
heating plaid to the sun and do
not iron it. This will prevent dam-
age to the insulation of the elec-
trical circuit. This heating plaid
is not intended to be used in a
hospital. Do not use the heating
plaid with other heating devic-
es or to heat other devices (foot
warmers, hot water bottle). This
unit is intended only for family

Never use this unit on a body
part that is swollen or inflamed
or in the case of skin rash. The
remote control must remain at
hand, do not leave the switch
hidden under the top mattress,
pillow or another object. Do not
use the heating plaid when it is
wet and do not turn it on to dry.
Do not use the heating plaid like
a mattress or under a person.
You may only use it as a heat-
ing plaid around you or over the
bed. Do not wrap the heating
plaid around you so that you can
no longer perform any move-
ment. Always leave a space be-
tween yourself and the blanket
so that you can have easy access
to the remote control or the pow-
er plug. Do not pinch the blan-
ket (especially on beds with var-
ying positions or mattresses with
separate elements). Do not use
the blanket on animals. When
