BEFORE THE FIRST USE
•
Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove
the protective foil or plastic from the device.
•
Place the device on a flat stable surface and ensure a mi-
nimum of 10 cm. free space around the device. This de-
vice is not suitable for installation in a cabinet or for
outside use.
•
Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the
voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local
voltage before connecting the device.
•
For a perfect taste, carry out 2 or 3 boil processes with
fresh water (without coffee). Once all the water has pas-
sed through, switch the appliance off and let it cool down
during 5 minutes. Then repeat the process with fresh
water.
USE
•
Pour the desired volume of water into the water reservoir.
The number of cups can be read on the water level indi-
cator.
•
Add the desired quantity of ground coffee. Replace the
filter holder.
•
Make sure the glass can is placed correctly on the hot-
plate.
•
To switch on, press the on/off button, the coffee maker
will start working and the red pilot light will light on.
•
Wait until the brewing process is finished and the filter is
empty. To switch off the coffee machine, press the on/off
button. The red pilot light will go off to indicate that the
coffee maker has been switched off.
