While operating
Keep third parties away from the power tool's
area of operation. Never work while animals or
people, especially children, are in the danger zone.
Keep the work area clean, organized and well lit, thus
decreasing the risk of accidents.
To avoid all dangers associated with welding process,
always wear personal protective clothing and
equipment. Wearing an approved hand-held welding
mask with suitable protective lenses or approved side-
shield goggles, long-sleeved clothing, safety shoes,
gloves and leather apron, mask and ear plugs under the
appropriate conditions reduces the risk of injury.
When welding, or supervising the welding process,
always wear a hand-held welding mask. Do not look
directly at the arc, use a welding mask with a suitable
protective screen. Never weld without wearing a mask.
Do not wear contact lenses during the welding process.
When you weld for a long time at the same place, use a
fume extraction equipment suitable for gases and
vapours resulting from the welding process. Use
respiratory protection equipment if there is a risk of
inhaling vapours resulting from welding work.
In confined spaces, air-conditioned environments and in
areas of high electrical risk, use only devices with the
symbol
. Appliances with this safety symbol are
suitable for welding in areas with greater danger of
electric shock.
To avoid the risk of overheating the power tool, keep
the ventilation slots permanently clean and unclogged
to allow air flow, avoid exposure to the sun and do not
cover the power tool during use.
Avoid using the inverter welder on surfaces coated with
paints containing lead or other materials harmful to
health. Any contact or inhalation of dust may cause
allergic reactions and / or breathing disorders.

During welding, always be aware of sparks that may
start a fire. Always have a fire extinguisher ready and
nearby for immediate use.
While operating the power tool, you should bear in
mind that:
▪ Inverter welder produce high output voltage. Do not
touch the electrode, electrode holder or workpiece
while the inverter is running. Electric shocks may lead
to death;
▪ Before each use, you should check the insulation of
the power cord, cables and attached accessories in
order to avoid electric shocks;
▪ Fumes and welding gases can harm you permanently.
To avoid these hazards, the workplace must be well
ventilated to keep fumes and gases away from the
breathing area;
▪ Arc rays from the welding process produce intense
visible and invisible (ultraviolet and infrared) rays
that can burn eyes and skin;
▪ Loud noises impair hearing. Use ear plugs if the noise
level is high;
▪ During welding, sparks and molten metal particles
can fly off and cause serious injury;
▪ Welding generates high heat. Hot surfaces and
materials in the workplace can cause severe burns.
Wear gloves and use pliers when touching or moving
materials.
