Tracking-force
adjustment
The tracking force is factory set at 3.5grams. To reduce the tracking force, turn
the knurled
knob (A) clockwise : to increase,
turn it counterclockwise.
Tonearm
drop-point adjustment
The correct stylus drop-point
is
3mm
(t/g") inward
from the edge of
a 30cm
(12")
record.
If it is not
this
amount,
turn
screw (C) counterclockwise
to
move
the drop-point inward; turn
it clockwise
to move
it outward.
Once
it is
properly adjusted with a 30cm
(12") record, the drop-point will be correct for
17cm
(7"} and 25cm
(10") records as well.
Cueing-height
adjustment
The cueing
height is correct when
the stylus clears the top of five records on
the turntable
by 3mm
(1/g").
To raise the Tonearm,
turn
screw
(B) counter-
clockwise; to lower it, turn it clockwise.
After this adjustment
is made, check
that the Tonearm
clears the under side of a disc stack atop the spindle.
Also
make
sure that the Tonearm
rests on the Arm
Rest.
