Installing the Device
Install the device at a minimal distance of 50 cm of flammable objects, walls or buildings. Make sure the air
intake and output of the device are always free and unobstructed.
Do not use the device in a room containing a bathtub or shower cubicle, or near a pool, washbasin or water
tap.
Never place the device on an irregular or unstable surface (e.g. a bed) to prevent the device from tipping
over.
Do not install the device directly below a mains outlet.

Power Cable
Uncoil the power cable in a way that no one can trip over it or stand on it. Only use extension cords which
are compatible with the device's power and which are tested according to the VDE standards.
Make sure the power cord does not come in contact with any part of the device.
Never pull the cord to pull the plug from the mains outlet. Never transport or move the device by pulling
the power cord.
Do not wind the power cord around the device.
Do not use the device with an unwound power cord.
Do not attach the power cord with sharp objects or pull over corners. Do not lay the power cord onto hot
cooking plates, in or over an open fire.

Operation
Turn the switch in the desired position and turn the thermostat to its maximum position. The device will
now heat until the desired temperature has been reached.
Next, turn the thermostat to the left until the heater switches off. The device will now automatically switch
on and off to keep the desired temperature.
8.
Overheating Protection
This device features an overheating protection and will automatically switch off when the device's temperature
runs too high. If this is the case, disconnect the device from the mains and leave to cool down for 10 minutes.
Reconnect to the mains and use the device as described above. Please contact your dealer if the device keeps
switching off.
9.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Pull the plug from the mains and leave the device to cool down completely before starting cleaning.
Never clean the device with water and do not immerse it in any liquid.
Wipe the housing with a moist, lint-free cloth.
