PLEASE READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY:
THIS PRODUCT HAS MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS:
1) Step Stool
2) Trestle Ladder
3) Ladder-Type Scaffold
INSPECTION:
1) Examine the product upon delivery and before each use.
2) Ensure that all rivets, joints, nuts, and bolts are securely fastened.
3) Never utilize a product that is damaged, bent, or broken.
4) Avoid making temporary fixes to damaged or missing components.
5) All components must be in excellent working conditions.
SELECTION:
1) Choose the appropriate product length to reach your desired working
height. The maximum height for model E-WSFB24T1A is 2 ft, for model
E-WSFB36T1A is 3 ft and for model E-WSFB48T1A, is 4 ft.
2) Model E-WSFB24T1A complies with ANSI 14.2 - Type 1A (300 lb duty
rating) standards for step stools and ladder-type scaffold.
3) Both E-WSFB36T1A and E-WSFB48T1A comply with ANSI 14.2 - Type 1A
(300 lb duty rating) standards for trestle ladders and ladder-type scaf-
fold.
4) These models can withstand a maximum load of over 2,400 lb on the top
cap and are duty-rated for 500 lb when used as a Ladder-Type scaffold.
5) Ensure that the combined weight of workers, planks, platforms, support
equipment, and materials on the platforms does not exceed the prod-
uct's rated capacity.

2) Avoid contact between the product and live electrical wires.
3) Do not use this product if you easily tire, are prone to fainting, are taking
medication or alcohol, or have physical limitations.
SETUP:
1) Always place the product on a stable, level surface with a secure footing.
Avoid slippery surfaces.
2) When setting up the product, ensure that the spreaders are locked in
place.
3) Avoid positioning the product in front of doors that may open toward it.
4) To prevent accidents, do not leave the product set up and unattended,
especially around children.
PROPER USE:
STEP STOOL:
• Model E-WSFB24T1A at 2 ft comply with ANSI 14.2 and can be used as
step stools (Section 6.6.1).
• When used as a step stool, standing on the top is allowed as per ANSI
14.2 Section 3.
• The rated capacity when used as a step stool is 300 lb.
TRESTLE LADDER:
• Models E-WSFB36T1A and E-WSFB48T1A at 3 ft and above meet ANSI
14.2 standards and can be used as trestle ladders.
• When used as a trestle ladder, do not stand on the top cap or the first
step down.
• This product allows for use by two people simultaneously, one on each
side. The rated capacity on each side is 300 lb.
LADDER-TYPE SCAFFOLD:
• This product is designed and tested for use as a Ladder-Type scaffold
according to ANSI 10.8 Section 17 when used with a properly designed
plank.
• Position the plank between two benches, ensuring it overlaps the sup-
porting steps by at least 12" but not more than 18" at each end.
• Securely fasten the plank to the workbench to prevent lateral movement.
• This system supports a plank and provides access and egress. The prod-
uct's 30" width offers over 18" of clearance for access and egress when
using a nominal 12" wide plank or over 12" of clearance with an 18"
wide plank.
• The maximum height of the working surface for Ladder-Type scaffolds
should not exceed four times the outside base width of the bench unless
properly secured. The rated capacity of this system is 500 lb.
