Inspect theline head assembly for
cracks o rdamage.
While gently p ulling o nthecutting l ine,
press t hespool ( bump h ead) u ntil t he
linereleases. Ifthe jamiscleared, the
spool should s pin free ashort d istance
and theline willadvance.
Iftheunit c ontinues tojamorwill
notspin freely, call 8 00-539-6455.
Failure t ostop theunit w hen the
lineisjammed w ilt c ause e xcessive
battery d rainage andshorten m otor life
(overheating).
Fuse Replacement
Toreplace t hefuse, y oumust
first r emove theline guard f rom
thetrimmer. Turn thelinetrimmer
attachment upside d own. Align the
arrow ontheedging w heel with the
arrow ontheline guard. Remove the
screw thatisexposed inthehole in
theedging w heel withastandard
screwdriver.
Remove theguard by
pulling a way f rom thetrimmer housing.
With theline guard removed, remove
thescrew shown i nfigure 16from the
taboftheredfuse cover ontheright
side ofthetrimmer housing.

Replace thefuse with thesame type

holder back intothetrimmer housing.
Replace theredfuse cover b yfirst
inserting thetabatthetopofthecover
intothehousing and then securing itin
place with thescrew thatyouremoved
previously.
Attach t helineguard t othe
trimmer housing (see thesection o n
attaching theline guard).
CAUTION: Never operate t hetrimmer
without theline guard attached.
