Please follow these instructions for the clock to work correctly, as it can only chime during the
day for 16 hours.
Setup
1.
Set
the clock to
5:50 AM WITHOUT BATTERIES INSTALLED.
2. Insert
3 x
AA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment
Note: The clock records the current setting as 5:50 AM. The first hourly bird call begins at 6:00 AM
and continues playing until 9:00 PM. Please note that this clock is based on a 24-hour system
and AM/PM must be taken into account when setting the time.
Note: When the battery is on, the time should only be set forwards as the bird chiming are preset
in the order of the song list.
If the above instructions are followed:
Chiming
hours:
6:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Non-chiming hours: 10:00 PM
If you want to delay the first hour without bird calls from 10:00 PM to 11:00 PM, you need to set the
clock to 6:50 before inserting the batteries. Once you insert the batteries, the chiming hours will
become 7:00 AM - 10:00 PM. However, this also changes the song list because the bird sound will
not match the image on the dial.
Note: If the clock slows down/stops or the ringer volume decreases, this is a sign that the
batteries are almost empty. Replace the batteries with new ones immediately. Follow the steps
in the instructions above to set the time after battery replacement.
