Operation
Selecting the mouthpiece
Use one of the supplied mouthpieces that suits the
■
diameter of the blind rivet [6] to be used.
Replacing mouthpiece
Unscrew the mouthpiece [2] with the supplied
■
spanner.
To facilitate loosening the mouthpiece, keep the
■
levers of the rivetting tongs pressed together.
Take the appropriate mouthpiece [2] out of the
■
holder and screw it to the head [4] using the
spanner [3].
Working procedure
Pull the levers [1] apart.
■
Put the blind rivet [6] in the mouthpiece [2].
■
Insert this blind rivet [6] in the hole of the parts to
■
be joined.
Press the levers [1] firmly together.
■
3 The rivet shank is compressed.
3 The rivet mandrel breaks off at the pre-determined
breaking point.
Note
If the shank does not break off at
the first time, repeat this procedure
as often as necessary, i.e. open and
press the lever together until the shank
breaks off.
Ejecting rivet mandrel
Pull the levers [1] of the rivetting tongs apart and
■
move the tongs.
3 The rivet mandrel is ejected at the back of the
