How to use your STARLYF® PERFECT
ICE CREAM
Preparing Your Ingredients
WASH ALL FRUITS FIRST
Wash fruits effectively. Cut away any da-
maged or bruised areas.
Rinse produce under running water.
Don't use soap, detergent, bleach, or com-
mercial washes.
Scrub firm produce—like melons or cucum-
bers—with a clean brush.
Dry with a paper towel or clean cloth
towel... and you're done.
PREPARE FRUITS TO BE FROZEN
Fruits must be peeled, deseeded, cleaned
and cut into chunks or small pieces at about
1 1/2 inch or 4 cm. Place them in a polybag
or a container for easy storage, then pla-
ce them in the freezer for a minimum of
8 hours before putting them through your
STARLYF® PERFECT ICE CREAM.
THAWING TIME
Allow frozen fruits to THAW BEFORE fe-
eding them to the STARLYF® PERFECT
ICE CREAM. Thawing time may vary de-
pending on the type of fruit. Add a few more
minutes of thawing time for hard frozen
fruits. Depending on the Freezing tempe-
rature of your Refrigerator we suggest the
following approximate thawing times. The
colder it is, the longer the thawing time re-
quired.
FOOD INGREDIENT
BANANAS over-ripe & peeled before freezing
BERRIES - blueberries, black berries, raspberries, cranberries
STRAWBERRIES
MELON - honeydew, cantaloupe, watermelon
PINEAPPLE peeled, cored & cut into chunks
PEACHES, PEARS & APPLES
MANGO
AVOCADO
COCONUT CREAM
GRAPES
KIWIS
LEMON & LIME
ORANGE
When using a variety of colorful fruits,
alternately add them into the chute for a
properly mixed and nice consistency soft
serve.
DO NOT place fruits with pits, honey or ICE
IN the STARLYF® PERFECT ICE CREAM.
You're ready to go.
Now it's time to make some soft serve.
• Place
STARLYF®
CREAM on a stable, waterproof surface
near electrical outlet before starting.
• Always make sure that the cord is away
from a water source.
• Plug in the unit.
• Place a small bowl/ serving dish/ ice
cream cone directly below the Nozzle of
the dispensing cap.
• Remove the plunger from the chute and
turn the unit ON.
• Insert frozen fruit slowly into the top of
the chute. DO NOT overfill the chute.
• DO NOT place fruit with pits, honey or
ice into the STARLYF® PERFECT ICE
CREAM.
• Apply steady pressure on the plunger to
slowly press the contents down though the
chute. DO NOT apply too much force to the
plunger. Slowly and gently push the ingre-
dients through.
• The creamy frozen fruit mixture will dis-
perse into your bowl. If using more than
one type of fruit per serving, add the diffe-
rent fruits alternately to allow them to mix
properly. You may also choose to stir the
frozen fruit before serving to ensure it is
