CAUTION
When the hairdryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it after use since the proximity of water presents a
•
hazard even when the hairdryer is switched off;
For additional protection the installation of a residual current device (RCD) with a rated residual
•
operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom.
Ask your installer for advice.
If however the appliance should fall into water pull the power plug out of the power socket
•
immediately! Never place your hand in the water.
Have your appliance checked by a qualified electrician before use it again!
•
Do not direct aerosols or water sprays into your appliance!
•
Ensure that you appliance does not feet wet (water sparing, etc) and do not use or with wet hands. If
•
you put your appliance down whilst drying your hair, always switch it off as a precaution.
MAINTENANCE
The air outlet grille will inevitably become hot during use.
•
Do not allow the cord to come into contact with the air outlet during use.
•
Please check the cord for danger from time to time! In the event of any necessary repair, including
•
replacement of the mains lead, your appliance should be sent to the specialist retailer (since the use
of special tools is necessary) from whom your hairdryer was acquired.
When drying your hair in rollers, do not allow any clips, hairpins, etc to project more than 10mm
•
(finger width) so as to ensure that they can't come into contact with the live parts of the appliance.
Children do not realize the dangers arising from improper of electrical appliance.
•
Children should mot therefore be allowed is a hairdryer without supervision.
•
Please read the operating instructions carefully and explain all precautions to your children.
•
The air inlet and outlet operating should never be obstructed. However, the airflow is inadvertently
•
obstructed during use, the built-in thermal safety cut will automatically switch off the appliance. The
hair dryer will switch on again automatically after cooling down for a few minutes.
Always unplug your appliance after use and before cleaning it!
•
The safety grill fitted in the air inlet opening prevents hair inlet opening.
•
If the grille becomes clogged, it should be cleaned (e-g. with vacuum cleaner or brush). As otherwise
•
the airflow will be obstructed to such an extent that the thermal cutout will operate.
Keep your hair away from the immediate vicinity of the air inlet opening.
•
Repairing electrical appliance should only be performed by a qualified electrician. Improper repairs
•
may place the user at serious risk.
HOW TO OPERATE
With the dual toggle switches, the heating and speed capacity can be matched to your requirement.
The following setting are possible:
1. Low heat, Low airflow, with both switches set on "1"only
2. Low heat, High airflow, Speed switch on "11", Heat setting on "11"
3. High heat, Low airflow, Speed switch on "11", Heat setting on "1"
4. High heat, high airflow, with both switches set on "11"
