5.3 Mounting
5.3.1 Wall Mounting
1)
Loosen three neck fastening screws (11) a little (but not completely) so that camera body can move.
2)
Secure the mount base (13) with screws (12) supplied to the wall or ceiling.
Make sure that the cable is routed safely not to be damaged by the mount base (13).
3)
Separate the housing body (1) by loosening two rear cover screws (9) and place it at a safe area.
4)
Set the camera direction roughly and fasten three neck fastening screws (11).
5)
Apply the power to the camera.
6)
Set the function switches (i), zoom (c) and focus (b) and adjust the iris level (d).
After setting zoom and focus, secure the knobs (b) and (c).
7)
Disconnect the current again.
8)
Repeat step 1). This step is a preparation for an easy assembling for step 9).
9)
Assemble the housing body (1) to the rear cover by tighten two rear cover screws (9).
When securing two rear cover screws (9), do not complete one at a time and another next.
Both screws are recommended to be tightened evenly a little at a time in turn.
10) Repeat step 4) - 5).
11) Trim the camera before the final secure and completely tighten three neck fastening screws (11).
CAUTION: Do not fully tighten the fixing screws (10) until the camera is adjusted into its exact position.
If the camera housing moves on the mounting arm after the fixing screws have been
tightened, the housing may be subject to leaks.
5.3.2 Ceiling Mounting
The camera is now upside down, i.e. the module and housing must be turned 180°.
The modification for upside down mounting must be carried out from the service department of
Videor Technical E. Hartig GmbH.
5.3.3 NOTE - Silica Gel Bag
As it is sometime impossible to completely prevent any moisture entering the open housing, we recommend the use
of the enclosed silica gel bag. Make sure that this is also used properly, i.e. if the protective foil is opened too early,
the silica gel can become fully soaked in a very short time and will therefore be useless.

Before inserting the silica gel bag, please remove the aluminium protective foil, because the silica gel cannot
work when covered with the foil.
2.
Insert the bag loosely between the rear housing and the camera support.
3.
The silica gel will absorb any residual moisture that entered the housing if mounting took place in damp conditions.
