Cleaning
The device must not be
sprayed with water or placed
in water. Otherwise there is
a risk of electric shock.
Keep the ventilation holes (
the motor housing of the device clean.
Use a damp cloth or brush to do this.
Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents. This could damage the device
irreparably.
Clean the saw blade holder (
with a brush or by blowing out with
compressed air. To do this, remove the
saw blade from the device.
Try to clean resinous surfaces with a
damp, lukewarm cloth that has been
wrung out well. Make sure that no liquids
can get into the interior of the housing!
Alternatively, you can use a special
cleaner (resin solvent) or multispray.
Please take notice of the safety infor-
mation and instructions provided by
the manufacturer of the special clea-
ner/multispray.
General maintenance work
Check the device before each use for
obvious defects such as loose, worn or
damaged parts.
Check the covers and protective de-
vices for damage and correct fit. Re-
place these if necessary.
Replace a blunt or bent saw blade or
one which has been damaged in some
other way.
Storage
Store the device in a dry and dustproof
location and out of reach of children.
Remove the rechargeable battery from
the device before storing the device.
The storage temperature for the rechar-

0°C and 45°C.
Avoid extreme cold or heat during
storage, so that the battery does not
lose performance.

Remove the battery from the device and re-
cycle the device, battery, accessories and
packaging in an environmentally-friendly
manner.

chargeable battery can be found in the se-
parate instruction manual for your battery
and charger.
Dispose of the device in accordance
with the local regulations. Return the
device to a collection point from where
it can be submitted for environmentally
compatible recycling. For more infor-
mation, please contact your local waste
management provider or our service
centre.
Disposal of your sent in defective devi-
ces is carried out free of charge.
• Feed clipped branches to composting
and do not throw them into the refuse
bin.
Electrical devices must not be dispo-
sed of with domestic waste
