6 Special Product Features
The battery-powered impact screwdriver is
characterised above all by low-recoil work at
high torques. This hardly perceptible reaction
force is achieved by means of a rotary percus-
sion mechanism designed for left and right rota-
tion.
7 Initial Operation/Setting
Charge the battery pack before use.
NiCd and NiMH: The battery pack reaches its
full capacity only after being charged and
discharged 5 times (charge cycles).
The maximum number of charge cycles can
only reached if an exhaustive discharge of the
battery pack is avoided. If performance dimin-
ishes, recharge the battery pack.
Store NiMH battery packs when charged and
recharge after 6 months at the latest.
Li-Ion battery packs (12 V)
- If the battery pack is either flat, or has become
overloaded or too warm during operation, then
the electronic system switches the battery pack
off (self-protection mode). To continue using the
battery pack: Insert the battery pack into the
charger, which is ready for use. (Rapid cooling
is possible in the "AIR COOLED" battery
charger.)
