• Connect the appliance to the mains and press the on switch to the I position.
• The fan will start working and the lights will light on.
• Direct the purified air flow towards the area where people are expected to be, areas of 30 - 50 square meters. A
continuous using is recommended.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to clean the appliance, ensure it is unplugged from the mains.
• Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the outside of the appliance.
• The lamps (3) have approximately 9,000 hours of life. To check if a lamp is burned out, look through the viewing
window (8). The replacement of the lamps, can be done by the user. To do that, the air outlet cover must be
unscrewed. Turn the lamp 90º until the pins match with the exit slot of the lamp holder. Remove the lamp and
insert the new one. Turn 90º again until the mark on the metallic part matches the groove lamp holder, you will
hear a click. To change the central lamp, first, you must remove one lamp from the lateral side. Once replaced, put
the cover back again and screw it. Make sure the activated carbon filter is included.
• Activated carbon filters have a life of approximately one year, always depending on the quality of the air in the
room and the functioning time.
• Both, UV-C lamps and activated carbon filters, can be found in our site (www.jata.es).
• Do not use chemical or abrasive products, such as metallic scourers, which may deteriorate the surfaces of the
appliance.
ENVIRONMENT PROTECTION
• Dispose the appliance according to the local garbage regulations.
• Never throw it away to the rubbish. So you will help to the improvement of the environment.
• Dispose the replaced lamps (3) and the activated carbon filters (6) into a waste collection center.
