• Do not connect the appliance to the mains without checking
that the voltage on the rating plate and that of your household
are the same.
• Don't allow children play with the appliance. Keep the
appliance out of the reach of children.
• It must not be used in places where it could be flammable
steam or explosive dust.
• This appliance is not suitable for using in stables or similar
places.
• This appliance is suitable for outdoor use.
• WARNING: There may be danger of electric shock if water from
a garden hose is directed towards the appliance. When using
extension cables, keep the plug base away from moisture and
prevent damages in the cable cord.
• VERY IMPORTANT: The appliance should never be immersed
in water or any other liquid.
• This appliance has an ultraviolet light emitter. Do not stare at
the source of light.
• The cleaning and maintenance must be done by users but it
cannot be done by children without any supervision.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its after-sales service or similar qualified
personnel in order to avoid a danger.
INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
• Take out the cartridge lid and remove the protection.
ATTENTION: To avoid allergic reactions, use gloves when handling.
• Insert the cartridge into the insect container (3) Fig. A.
• Plug it to the mains and press the power switch to position "I". The fan will start to work and the lamp will light up.
IMPORTANT: Due to its low consumption and the features of the appliance, to get the best performance it
must be working continuously 24 hours a day throughout the season.
• The estimated working life of one cartridge is 30 – 45 days.
MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Before you proceed to cleaning the appliance, ensure it is unplugged from the mains.
• Use a slightly damp cloth for cleaning the outside of the appliance.
• Clean the insect container (3) once a week or it is full. To do that move up the appliance and turn the container
anticlockwise.
• To replace the container fix it in the original position and turn it slightly clockwise (Fig. B).
