Remove the tare
• If the ingredient needs to be
weighed in a container, this must
be tared first.
Taring can be performed in two
different ways:
a) with the scale on, place the
empty container on top. The
weight of the container will be
shown on the display.
Press the ON/OFF button
to remove (tare) the weight of the
container.
The display will show "0", along
with the set unit of measurement.
Now add the ingredient to be
weighed. (fig. 6)
b) with the scale off, place the
empty container on top and then
turn on. The display will show "0",
and the unit of measurement. In
this case, the scale is already tared
with the weight of the container,
and the ingredient to be weighed
can be added immediately. The
weight displayed will therefore be
that of the ingredient only.
To shut off the scale, press and hold
the ON/OFF button
If the scale is not used for more than 3
minutes, it will shut off automatically.
HOW TO WEIGH MULTI-
PLE INGREDIENTS IN THE
SAME CONTAINER
• After taring the scale with a
container positioned on top, add
the first ingredient to the container.
• After weighing the ingredient out,
press the ON/OFF button
the display will zero out again.
• Add the new ingredient into the
container, and the display will show
the weight of that ingredient only.
• Press the ON/OFF button
again to re-tare the display will
zero out again.
• Repeat until you have weighed out
all the ingredients.

If you place something to be weighed on
the scale, press the
ON/OFF button
but then remove the weight, a negative
value will be shown on the display.
To be sure you are weighing correctly,
it is recommended to switch the scale
off and on again.
ATTENTION!
If "Err" is shown on the display,
this indicates:
• that the weight of the ingredients
and/or container exceeds the
maximum capacity of the scale
5 kg/ 11 lb.
• a weighing error due to a
malfunction of the scale or
the container/ingredient being
positioned incorrectly on it.
Try switching the scale off and
on again.
If the error persists, press the
small black reset button on the
back of the scale.

INGREDIENTS
Switch on the scale and press the
button
to select the unit of meas-
urement you wish to use.
Weighing liquid ingredients is the
same as weighing solid ingredients
(see the "How to use the scale" and
"How to weigh multiple ingredients
in the same container" sections).

To hang the scale to the wall, use the
adhesive guide, the wall plugs and
screws provided.
