3. Turn the browning control knob (D) to adjust the toast browning level from 1 to 6.
A higher browning level produces darker toast.
During toasting you can adjust the browning level at any time.
• The toasting color for one slice tends to be darker than two slices at the same
browning level.
• The bread toasted first will be lighter than bread toasted in the subsequent batches as
the toaster has fully heated up.
4. Place the bread (maximum 2 slices) into the toasting slots (A). For optimal browning
result, the thickness of the bread should be about 10 mm.
Note: The thickness of the bread should not exceed 20 mm.
5. Press the loading lever (B) down. The CANCEL buton (C) indicator light will turn on.
The toaster will start heating up.
Note: The toaster must be connected to the power supply before the loading handle
can be pressed and locked down.
6. To stop toasting at any time and turn off the toaster, press the CANCEL buton (3).
The indicator lights will turn off. Do not lift the loadinglever (B) to cancel toasting.
• When toasting is complete, the toast will pop up and the indicator lights will go out.
• Always unplug the toaster after use.
Tips
• When toasting more than 1 slice of bread, make sure the slices are of a similar size,
thickness, and freshness.
• Old bread is less moist than fresh bread and produces crispier toast.
• Old, thin, and sweet breads, such as tea cakes and fruit loaf, take less time to toast,
so a lower browning level should be used.
• Do not immerse the coffee maker, power cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
Never rinse them under the tap or expose them to moisture.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp objects
or scouring pads to clean the appliance.
• Do not put any part of this appliance in the dishwasher.
