Set up and handling
Do not place heavy items on the product, throw

or drop the product, or otherwise expose it to strong
physical impact.
Do not place the product on surfaces that are unstable,
ˎ
tilted, or subject to vibration.
Do not leave the product on the floor.
ˎ
Do not touch the connectors or insert any foreign
ˎ
objects into them or the product.
Do not expose the product to high temperatures,
ˎ
high humidity, or direct sunlight during operation,
transportation, and storage.
Attach or remove the disc drive
Caution
Before attaching or removing the disc drive, read the
following safety precautions.
Caution
Keep out of reach of young children. Small parts
ˎ
may accidentally be swallowed and cause choking.
After you have turned off your PlayStation®5 console
ˎ
and unplugged the AC power cord and cables, wait
for your console to cool down before removing and
attaching the covers. The main unit of your PS5®
console may still be hot immediately after use,
and continued handling of your console may
cause burns.
Be careful not to pinch your fingers in the gaps
ˎ
between parts, and not to hurt your hands and
fingers on the corner of parts.
When turning on your console, make sure the covers
ˎ
are installed correctly. If the covers are not installed
correctly, it may cause the main unit to overheat.
