4. CHARGING MODE
4.1 How to set the automatic charging mode
1. Connect the SMARTCHARGER 32 to a power source.
2. On power up, the system will beep, power on and display the firmware version for one second.
Press and hold the Auto Charging Mode button for four seconds until the system beeps. The LCD will
show one of the following messages:
OFF: Indicates that the auto power modes are off.
A6: Indicates that automatic management has been enabled.
3. Unplug the device from the power source and then plug it back in. The system will now automati-
cally boot into auto recharge mode.
How it works: When turned on, the system will evaluate the power consumption of all connected
devices, and will begin to distribute the current as needed. At first there may be only one or all four
sections in office. If the batteries of the connected devices are very low, the system may first charge a
section until the battery charge is high enough to add more devices. At the end all sections will have
the current necessary to charge all devices.
4.2 How to deactivate the automatic recharge mode
1. Connect the device to a power source.
2. When the system powers on, press and hold the Auto Charge Mode button for four seconds until
the system beeps. The LCD will show the message OFF
3. Press the auto-charge button once to stop the charge cycle, then unplug the system. The automa-
tic charging mode a will be disabled at the next power on.
