OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

1. WARNINGS
The appliance may only be used after the instructions in the following document have been read
and understood. This equipment is suitable neither for drinking water nor for equipment in contact
with dishes.
- The appliance is not intended for use by children or persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervi-
sion or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the potential
hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and maintenance of the machine must only be carried out by adults and only after the
machine has been disconnected from the electrical supply.
- The appliance must be powered by a properly protected electrical supply system.
- The company reserves the right to make any modifi cations to the machines described without
prior notice.
- Unplug the equipment from the mains before any intervention.
- For clean water pump, when the pump is running, there must be no particles in the water (clean
water only); for dirty water pump, it could run with particles but no bigger than the pump desig-
ned particle size.
- Do not use the pump without a residual-current device.
- The pump must be used with 230V AC Power supply, as indicated on the rating plate.
- Do not use the power cable for carrying the pump or for unplugging.
- Make sure that electric connections are protected from humidity.
- Avoid dry-running of the pump. Never use the pump if suction hose is obstructed.
- It is strictly forbidden to pump corrosive, easily combustible, aggressive or explosive liquids
(such as gasoline, petroleum or nitro thinner), saltwater and food.
- The temperature of the liquid must not exceed 35°C.
- Do not use the pump if safety devices are damaged or depleted. Never desactivate safety
devices.
The pump must be used only for its prescribed purpose. Any use other than those mentioned in
this Manual will be considered a case of misuse.
2. CONDICIONS OF USE
The pump is designed for home use. It can be used to remove or transfer clean water or dirty wa-
ter with particles, water removal in case of fl ooding, re-pumping and pumping from the container,
removal of water from streams and wells, removal of water from drainage and drip wells. The
pump must not be used in following situations:
- Water temperature to be sucked > 35°C
- Continuous run. (ex: fountain pump)
- Drinking water supply or washing machines for dishes supply.
- Corrosive, easily combustible, aggressive or explosive liquids (such as gasoline, petroleum or
nitro thinner), saltwater, oils and greases must not be pumped.
- Permanent submersion under 3 meters or more water.
