Note:
1. It may be necessary to drive the anchor nuts in with a wooden mallet, as they can be difficult to drive
in manually. Do not use a metal hammer as this may damage the threads on the head of the nuts.
2. If you have to use a hammer, we recommend that you set the bolts loosely (place them loosely), to
avoid damaging the threads.
3. Tighten the bolts with a 17 mm Allen key: it is recommended to use a closed rather than an open
Allen key to avoid damage to the bolt if it slips.
4. When fully inserted, the fixings should be securely positioned on the wall. If they are loose, tighten
them further.
5. Do not attempt to fix the wall fixings to dry stone walls, or any surface that is not completely firm.
6. Make sure that the wall fixings are firmly screwed to the wall so that they cannot come off when the
blind is mounted.

Image 5: Use at least two ladders or chairs to
install the awning, so that the installation is
horizontal. Make sure that the ladders or chairs
are firmly placed on the floor to avoid the risk of
falling.
Use ladders that are suitable for this type of work.
Note:
If the bar (wall bar) cannot be inserted onto the wall brackets, loosen the screws on the wall brackets
slightly, then try again.
This time move the blind slightly forward until the bar slides over the fixings.
Immediately insert the safety bolts on the front of the wall fixings and tighten the nuts with a 19mm
Allen key.
Ensure that the safety bolts have been tightened firmly.
Note: You can now remove the safety sleeves from the arms.
WARNING: RAISING THE FRONT BAR WILL REDUCE THE SLOPE DIFFERENTIAL (ANGLE) OF THE FABRIC,
THUS INCREASING THE RISK OF RAINWATER COLLECTING ON THE FABRIC.
TO PREVENT THE AWNING FROM COLLAPSING UNDER THE WEIGHT OF RAIN, RETRACT THE AWNING
WHEN NOT IN USE. OTHERWISE THERE IS A RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY.
