Intended Use
The machine is intended for mixing of fluid and pul-
verized building materials, e. g., paint, varnish,
mortar, adhesives, plaster and similar substances.
The machine is not suitable for mixing of materials
containing graphite powder, hydrochloric solutions
or liquid manure. Mixing such materials can dam-
age or destroy the machine.
The user is responsible for damage caused by usage
other then intended.
Mounting the Hand Guard/
Auxiliary Handle
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Attach the hand guard/auxiliary handle 5 in the
correct position so that the pin engages in the corre-
sponding location bore. Insert the screw 6 and
tighten (see figure).
For operational-safety reasons, the hand guard/
auxiliary handle is to be used at all times!
Mounting the Stirrer
Before any work on the machine itself, pull the
mains plug.
Use a stirrer that is suitable for the material and the
material quantity.
Screw the stirrer 1 onto the drive spindle 2 . Hold the
drive spindle in place with a open-end wrench and
tighten the stirrer with a second open-end wrench.
Initial Operation
Observe correct mains voltage: The voltage of the
power source must agree with the voltage specified
on the nameplate of the machine.
Switching On and Off
Switching on:
Press the On/Off switch 4 .
Switching off:
Release the On/Off switch 4 .
Stepless Speed Control
Light pressure on the On /Off switch 4 results in low
rotational speed, thus allowing to begin in a smooth,
controlled manner. Further pressure on the switch
results in an increase in speed.
8
Gear Selector Switch
Two speed ranges can be preselected with the gear
selector switch 3 :
0 – 300 rpm
0 – 560 rpm
Have the speed selector switch engage in the respec-
tive position. If the selector switch does not engage
in a gear position, lightly rotate the drive spindle by
hand.
Actuate the gear selector switch only when the
machine is at a standstill!
Operating Instructions
The selection of the stirrer 1 depends on the material
to be stirred:
Material to be stirred Stirrer
Paint, varnish,
R I
primers, bitumen
Ready-mix plaster,
R II
mortar, gypsum, filler
Plaster, concrete, floor
M I
pavement, insulation
protection
Ready-mix mortar,
M II
flow concrete, floor
adhesive
When immersing the stirrer into and removing it out
of the material to be stirred, reduce the speed. Dur-
ing the mixing procedure, move the machine up and
down.
Clean the stirrer after usage.
For fluid materials
For viscous, sticky
materials
For heavy
materials
For slightly
pulverized and
sticky materials
