8. This machine has two blades, which are in a para-
llel position. Repeat the above procedure to chan-
ge the other blade.
9. After the blades are replaced, check if the blades
are parallel and in the same surface as the rear
base plate with a ruler.
If the blades are not parallel, you can adjust them with
the wrench provided:
1. Loosen the three blade screws.
2. Turn the socket head screw of the blade clamp
clockwise, the blade will be risen.
3. Turn it anticlockwise, the blade will be lowered
down.
4. Retighten the three screws fully.
Replacing a drive belt
1. Loosen the screws and remove the belt cover.
2. Remove the worn drive belt from the large pulley
and the pinion and clean them.
3. Lace the new belt on the top of the pinion and turn
it manually, then place it on the large pulley.
4. Make sure that the drive belt runs exactly along
the length grooves of the pinion and the pulley.
5. Insert the belt cover in place by tightening the
screws.
Correct planer blade setting
To avoid an uneven and rough surface, the blade must
be set properly, so that the cutting edge on the front
movable base (A), is absolutely level and parallel to the
surface of the rear stationary base (B):
The following blade settings are NOT correct and
should not be used:

MAINTENANCE
• Always be sure that the tool is switched off and
the battery pack is removed from the tool before
attempting to perform inspection or maintenance.
• Regularly clean the tool's air vents with compres-
sed dry air. Do not attempt to clean by inserting
pointed objects through openings.
• Do not use cleaning agents to clean the plastic
parts of the tool, a mild detergent on a damp cloth
is recommended instead.
• Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly main-
tained tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely
to bind and are easier to control.
