3. USE OF THE
APPARATUS
Before the first use
The refrigerator must be allowed to
for at least four hours before it is
settle
switched on.
It is recommended to clean the inside of the
appliance before using it for the first time,
using a solution of baking soda and warm
water and drying the inside thoroughly.
The refrigerator may give off an odour when
it is first used. This will disappear as soon as
the appliance cools down.
Please note:
The appliance will start up at 5°C for the
refrigerator and -18°C for the freezer and run
continuously until it is brought down to the
correct temperature. If the appliance is
switched off, you must allow five minutes to
elapse before switching it on again to avoid
unnecessary damage to the compressor.
Never store in- flammable or explosive
objects or strong corrosive acids or alkalis in
the appliance. This refrigerator cools your
food by cooling the inside rear of the cavity. It
is normal for frost to accumulate on this
surface; it is then dissipated and drained
through a small drain at the bottom, where it
evaporates harmlessly. The presence of frost
on the rear is not a malfunction of the
refrigerator.

cause frost and possible condensation
problems that are difficult to eliminate.

the refrigerator. This will help prevent
moisture loss, keep food fresh and avoid

will be used soon should be stored at
the front of the shelf to ensure that it
can be stored in a safe place.
avoid deterioration caused by the door
being open for prolonged periods.
• Do not overfill the refrigerator. There
must be enough space between the
food to allow cold air to circulate.
• Defrosting frozen food in the refrigerator
compartment will help to keep the
temperature low and save energy.
• Never store raw meat on shelves above
cooked meat or other products. This will
prevent raw meat juices from
contaminating other foods.
