INTENDED USE
This tool is used for setting the tensioning of the timing belt on 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4L TFSI and TSI petrol
engines with 3 and 4 cylinder, installed in e.g. following vehicles:
VW Golf VI Cabrio, Golf VII, Golf Sportsvan, Jetta, Passat, Polo and Up / Audi A1, A3 and Q3
Seat Ateca, Ibiza V, Leon, Leon ST and Leon SC / Skoda Citigo, Fabia, Octavia and Superb III.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION

sorted, taken to a recycling centre and disposed of in a manner which is compatible with
the environment. Contact your local solid waste authority for recycling information.
USE
Place the wrench on the tensioner pulley as shown
and turn clockwise until the triangular mark is
between the two marks (arrow).
