industrial or outdoor use. Only use this appliance indoors.
• Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Any other use
is to be considered inappropriate and therefore dangerous.
• Always use the appliance in a well ventilated area.
• The fondue pot and the base unit are designed to be used
together and must not be used with any other pots or appliances
(ovens, microwaves, hobs, electric plates, etc.) to avoid a hazard.
• Place the appliance on a firm, level and heat-resistant surface.
Do not place the appliance on flammable or fragile surfaces,
such as a wooden, plastic or glass surfaces.
• Do not place the appliance on wall corners, against a wall or
other objects. Do not cover the appliance. Keep a minimum
clearance on all sides of at least 15 cm and adequate clearance
above it.
• Do not use the appliance near flammable liquids or gases, or
flammable materials (e.g. curtains, tablecloths, wallpapers,
etc.).
• The use of an extension cord with this appliance is not
recommended. If it is necessary to use an extension cord, it
should be equal to or greater than the power consumption of the
appliance, and must be a grounding type 3-wire cord. Arrange
the extension cord so that no one may step or trip over it, or
accidentally pull on it.

CAUTION! Do not let the power cord (and extension cord
if used) hang over the edge of the tabletop or countertop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
accidentally. Never place the power cord (and extension cord
if used) under carpets, rugs, in doorways or high traffic areas.
• Do not connect this appliance to an external timer or remote
control system.
• Do not allow the cord to touch hot surfaces, sharp edges or
corners. Do not place the cord or appliance near hot gas or
electric burners, or in a heated oven.
