TROUBLESHOOTING
If you are experiencing issues with your air fryer, follow the guidance below.
The Air Fryer does not work
The ingredients fried with
the Air Fryer are not done.
Fried snacks are not crispy
when they come out of the
Air Fryer.
It is di cult or not possible
to slide the inner pot and
frying basket into the
appliance properly.
White smoke comes out of
the appliance.
Fresh fries are fried unevenly
in the Air Fryer.
Fresh fries are not crispy
when they come out of the

The appliance is either not plugged in or switched
on.
You have not set the time or tempertaure.
The inner pot is not properly locked into the unit
There is too much food in the frying basket.
The set temperature is too low.
The cooking time is too short.
You used a type of snack meant to be prepared in
a traditional deep fryer.
There is too much food in the frying basket.
The frying basket in not placed properly into the
inner pot
You are preparing greasy ingredients.
The pan still contains grease residues from
previous use.
You did not use the right type of potato.
You did not rinse the potato sticks properly before
you fried them.
The crispiness of the fries depends on the amount/
type of oil and water in the fries.
Make sure the mains plug is inserted in an
electrical wall socket and is switched on.
Set the time and temperature and then press
"START/CANCEL".
Push the inner pot into the Air Fryer so it "clicks".
Put smaller batches of ingredients in the frying
basket. Smaller batches are fried more evenly.
Adjust the temperature to the required
temperature setting.
Adjust the timer to the required preparation time.
Use snacks made to be prepared in the oven, or
lightly brush some oil onto the snacks for a crispier
result.
Do not over ll the frying basket.
Push the frying basket down into the inner pot
until you hear a slight click.
When you fry greasy ingredients in the Air Fryer, a
large amount of oil will leak into the pan. This oil
may white smoke and the pan may heat up more
than usual. This does not a ect the appliance or
the end result.
White smoke is caused by grease heating up in the
inner pot; make sure you clean the frying basket
and inner pot thoroughly after each use.
Use fresh potatoes and make sure they stay rm
during frying.
Rinse the potato sticks thoroughly to remove
starch from the outside of the sticks.
Make sure you dry the potato sticks properly
before you add the oil.
Cut the potatoes into thinner sticks for a crispier
result.
Add slightly more oil for a crispier result.
