Thank you for purchasing an AF Extension Tube
MA-8.5. Mounted between a Yashica AF camera
and AF lens, this extension tube for auto-focus
SLR cameras allows you to take close-ups of
people, flowers, etc, with ease.
You can take pictures with it according to thè
exposure mode of thè camera without thè need
of focusing. Anyone can enjoy taking beautiful
close-ups with it.
Please read this manual carefully before use.

proper care.

Mount thè Extension Tube on thè Camera.
(See illustration O)
Align thè Camera Mounting Index on thè
extension tube with thè lens index on thè
camera, fit in thè extension tube and turn it
clockwise as far as it will go.

Mount thè Lens on thè Extension Tube.

Align thè red dot on thè lens with thè Lens
Mounting Index on thè extension tube, fit in thè
lens and turn it clockwise as far as it vili go
< Dismounting thè Extension Tube>
The extension tube can be dismounted from thè
camera in thè same procedure as that for
dismounting a lens from thè camera. To
dismount thè lens from thè extension tube, press
in thè Lens Release Button and, while holding it
in this position, turn thè lens counterclockwise.
The procedure is thè same for dismounting
extension tubes used in combination.

Look through thè viewfinder and compose
your picture.
2 Focus thè lens.
O Check exposure and depress thè shutter
*-' release. Take care not to shake thè camera
when

eleasing thè sh'rtter.
• Because thè depth of field is extremely
narrow in a dose range, it is recommended to
stop down thè lens as much as possible.
• The smaller thè aperture, thè slower thè
shutter speed will become accordingly. To
prevent camera shake, mount thè camera on a
tripod and trip thè shutter with an optional cable
release.
<Notice>
When taking CPU-matic flash pictures, thè
aperture value Information is not correctly
transmìtted from thè lens to thè camera.
Because thè aperture is set at a wider aperture
value that is required for thè actual shooting
distance, feHew thè camera's instruction manual
and set thè aperture manually to shoot.
