Bend the extension cord and pass it
through hole (1), then fit it in clamp (2)
(Fig. 2).

Remove the blades protector.
✔
Make sure the voltage of the power
source (110/127V or 220/230V) is the
same of the equipment.
✔
Connect the power supply cord to a wall
outlet.
✔
Always keep the hedge trimmer in front
of you. Firmly hold the handle with both
hands and position yourself in a safe and
stable manner.
✔
Switching on - Press front safety lever (3)
and then the handle (4) (Fig. 1).
✔
Switching off - Either release the safety
lever (3) or the handle (4) (Fig. 1).
Attention!
The cutting blades keep moving for
some seconds after the equipment is
switched off.
If your hedge trimmer happens to fail while
you are using it, follow the suggestions
presented below:
The cutting blades stop working
✔
Cut slower. If the blade keeps stopping,
unplug the hedge trimmer and call
TRAPP nearest technical assistance shop.
✔
While cutting, the blades came across
some kind of obstacle such as a piece of
wire, a nail or another object.
The equipment does not stop when the
handle or safety lever is released
✔
Immediately unplug the hedge trimmer
and call TRAPP nearest technical
assistance shop.
Operation
✔
In case the hedge trimmer is blocked by
an object, immediately switch it off,
unplug it and check the cutting blades. If
the blades are damaged, take your hedge
trimmer to the nearest TRAPP technical
assistance shop.
✔
Frequently check the cutting blades and
whenever necessary look for TRAPP
nearest technical assistance shop for
either substitution or repairs.

Tips
Poor cutting quality
✔
Make sure the product has been used
correctly.
✔
Unplug it, and check whether there is
debris stuck in the cutting blades.
✔
If the blades are damaged, immediately
unplug the hedge trimmer and call
TRAPP nearest technical assistance shop.
Excessive vibration
✔
Immediately unplug the hedge trimmer
and call TRAPP nearest technical
assistance shop.
