6.3 Fuel change from propane to gasoline or reverse
Fuel change from propane to gasoline or reverse can be performed while the
engine is on.
NOTE: Keep in mind the battery switch must be on the "ON" position all the
time while using the equipment. Specifically for the fuel change process.
Change from Gasoline to Propane:
Keep the generator started up and disconnect the devices from the generator.
Open the propane passage in the bottle regulator.
Turn the fuel selector switch quickly and without stopping at the "OFF" position to
the propane position (LPG). If you perform this step slowly the group could come
to a halt when passing through the "OFF" position.
Change from propane to gasoline:
Keep the generator started up and disconnect the devices from the generator.
Turn off the propane from the bottle regulator and immediately turn the fuel
selector switch quickly and without stopping at the "OFF" position to reach the
gasoline position. If done slowly, the group could stop while passing through the
"OFF" position.
NOTE: If the equipment stops during the fuel change, just perform new attempts
until the start up. If the equipment has no battery or it's empty it could be more
difficult to start up in a fuel change since the solenoid shuts off the fuel provision
and the carburetor would not work.
