BEFORE USE
The toaster may produce a smell when
used for the first time. This is normal and
is caused by manufacturing residue or
oil. It is recommended to heat the toaster
without bread before use, as descibed
below.
USE
Place 1-2 bread slices into the bread slots.
Note: Make sure the crumb tray is
correctly positioned before use.
Plug the power cord into an outlet.
Set color control knob (4) to your desired
level of toasting.
Bread will be toasted to a golden brown
color at the position of "3".
The color setting should only be adjusted
before baking.
Note: If only one slot is used, the bread
will be darker than if both slots are used
simultaneously. When toasting several
slices of bread in a row, subsequent slices
will be darker in color.
Press down on the carriage handle (3)
until it latches in place.
Once the bread has been toasted to
the preset color, the carriage handle
will automatically release, and you can
remove the bread.
Note: The carriage handle can only be
latched down when the appliance is
connected to a power supply.
You can observe the toasting color during
the toasting process. If your bread has
reached the desired color before the
toaster automatically stops, you can turn
the color knob (4) to the left to cancel.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Disconnect the power supply before
cleaning.
Wipe the outside with a soft dry cloth
after the toaster cools down.
Never use metal polish.
Pull out the crumb tray on the bottom of
the toaster by the crumb tray handle and
empty it. If the toaster is used frequently,
accumulated bread crumbs should be
removed at least once a week. Make
sure the crumb tray is completely closed
before using the toaster again.
When not in use, the power cord can be
wound under the bottom of toaster.
