If the gas does not ignite within 10 seconds, return the knob to the "OFF" position and wait 1 minute before
repeating these operations to give the gas time to dissipate.
Switching off the appliance
Turn the knob to the OFF position. Close the tap on the gas bottle. Leave the product to cool for a few
minutes, then close the lid.
How to disconnect a gas bottle
Except for twin-cylinder installations with a changeover valve, turn off the gas tap if fitted to the
appliance. Wait until the burner and pilot light have gone out. For installations with a changeover valve,
it is only necessary to switch off the empty cylinder. Replace the safety cap onto the empty cylinder.
Cleaning and maintenance
After each cooking session, wait for the product to cool down. Do not leave stagnant water in the
appliance. Protect your appliance with a cover if you leave it outside on sunny days. Keep it sheltered
from rain and humidity during prolonged periods of non-use. Before each use, ensure that the hose has
no cuts, cracks, or signs of significant wear. Make sure its expiration date has not passed. Perform a leak
test at the beginning of each season and whenever you replace the gas bottle to ensure the proper
functioning of your appliance and its connections.
External surface and lid
Use a mild detergent or baking soda with a warm water solution. A non-abrasive scouring powder can
be used on stubborn stains. Rinse with water. Thoroughly clean the inside surface of the lid with a very
soapy warm water solution. Rinse with water and let it dry completely. NEVER USE OVEN CLEANER.
Leak Test
NEVER USE AN OPEN FLAME TO DETECT GAS LEAKS. DO NOT LIGHT THE APPLIANCE DURING THE TEST. Set all
appliance controls to OFF, Properly connect your gas bottle, Open the gas bottle valve. To detect a leak,
apply a mixture of liquid soap and water to all gas circuit connections (valves, hose, regulator, and
hexagonal nut) and the hose. If bubbles form, it indicates a leak.
Gas cylinder
The appliance can be used with any gas cylinder of weights between 4.5KGS and 15KGS butane and
3.9KGS to 13KGS propane. The gas cylinder should not be dropped or handled roughly! If the appliance is
not in use, the cylinder must be disconnected. Replace the protective cap on the cylinder after
disconnecting the cylinder from the appliance.
Cylinders must be stored outdoors in an upright position and out of the reach of children. The cylinder
must never be stored where temperatures can reach over 50°C. The height of the gas cylinder is below
the 80cm, and the width is within 35cm
