Do not use non-rechargeable batteries.
If your unit is powered by a battery charged directly inside the unit
and cannot be replaced by the user (see the user guide):
• This unit contains batteries that can only be replaced by qualified
personnel.
General recommendations for batteries:
– Do not disassemble, open or shred cells or batteries.
– Keep batteries out of reach of children and pets. Children
should be supervised when using batteries. More specifically,
keep small batteries out of the reach of children.
– Risk of chemical burns! Do not ingest the battery. If the battery
is swallowed, it can cause severe internal burns and lead to
death, in the space of just 2 hours.
– If a cell or battery is swallowed, please seek urgent medical
attention.
– Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storing
directly under sunlight.
– Do not short-circuit any cell or battery. Do not store cells
or batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer, as they may
short-circuit one another or be short-circuited by other metal
objects.
– Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging
until it is ready for use.
– Do not subject cells or batteries to mechanical shocks.
– Should the battery leak, use a cloth to remove it from the
battery compartment. Dispose of the battery according to
regulations.
– Should a cell leak, take care to prevent the liquid from coming
into contact with the skin, eyes or mucous membranes.
Should it do so, wash the affected area with plenty of water
and seek medical attention.
– Do not use any other charger than the one specifically
intended for use with the unit.
