1. INSTALLATION
a. Choice of location
If installing the detector outdoors, it should be sheltered from prolonged exposure to
moisture (e.g. do not install under a gutter or porch). Never install close to a water sup-
ply or sink! Avoid exposure to high variations in temperature and direct sunlight. Never
install close to a water supply or sink! Do not install the detector in a place where it
is likely to be constantly triggered (by animals, constant vehicular traffic, etc.) or near
air conditioning or heating systems. Choose your location carefully so that nothing can
hinder detection and so that the infrared sensor works properly. Avoid obstacles – the
detection field must be free. We also recommend that you install it high enough to
prevent theft or vandalism.

b. Connecting
For wall or ceiling installation, the detector is connected between the original light
switch and the light. It is powered by 3 wires – be sure to respect the colours:
L : phase - brown. N: neutral - blue. L' : red - device to connect.
Connect the lamp to a Class II light fixture (not to be connected to earth).
• Shut off the power at your electrical board,
• Remove your existing light fixture if necessary.
You can reduce or increase these distances according
to the position or height
