During breaks in ironing, leave the appliance in the vertical position.

Never leave the hot iron on textiles or materials which could burn easily.

Never rest the iron on the electrical connection cable.
Do not use the iron if the cable becomes frayed.

Do not immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.

Unplug the iron from the mains supply before filling it with water, or before pouring out the remaining water after
use.

When the ironing is finished, unplug the cable from the mains and empty out the water tank.
•
Do not unplug it by pulling on the cable, nor leave the plug hanging freely.
•
If you need to leave the room where you are ironing, then switch the iron off and pull the plug out off the wall socket.
