WARNING!
Risk of drowning!
Children could drown in the pool, even if it is filled with a small
amount of water.
− Never leave your child unsupervised. Children may only use
the pool if they are under immediate adult supervision. Also
supervise children who are near the pool. Have a qualified
adult supervise the pool when in use.
− Children could drown in the pool, even if it is filled with a
small amount of water. Empty the pool when it is not in use.
− Never leave the pool unattended when it has been filled
with water, even it is covered over.
− Make sure that unsupervised children cannot access the pool.
− If the pool is not in use or is not supervised, remove all toys
from the surrounding area to avoid attracting children.
− If the pool is not in use, remove all toys and objects from
the surrounding area, which could give a child easier
access to it (e.g. chairs, large toys etc.).
− Do not use the pool as a flotation device or swimming aid.
− Always stay within reach, so that you can react
immediately if a child slips.
− Have weak swimmers and non-swimmers under continual,
active and alert supervision by a qualified adult. Children
under 5 years of age have the greatest risk of drowning.
− Weak swimmers or non-swimmers should wear personal
protective gear when they enter the pool.
− State or local laws or codes may require fencing or other
approved barriers. Check state or local laws and codes
before setting up pool.
