441ABRTHP - PUMP SHUTDOWN ACTUATOR
WITH LOCAL AVEBUS ALARM RESET - 2 MOD. S44
The 441ABRTHP device, when combined with the
temperature and humidity probe 44xABTMH-SO,
allows the flow pump of the cooling circuit to be
stopped. It is equipped with a relay, which can be put
in series with the pump circuit, and a local button for
status reset. It is also equipped with a red indicator to
signal an alarm. It is integrated in the AVEbus home
automation system to manage temperature control in
home and building automation systems.
The article is made in a plastic container - 2 mod.
S44.

Actuator
Bistable relay with 1 closing contact (16 A / 250 Vac) potential-free.
Minimum contact opening distance of less than 3 mm, and in any event no less than 1.2 mm, to ensure
functional interruption and not safety insulation.
Safety distances between exchange contact and internal active parts: 6 mm (surface and in air).
During transport or installation, occasional impact may displace internal equipment and close contacts.
It is recommended, for initial commissioning only, that the bus (or auxiliary) voltage be supplied in
sequence first, followed by the mains voltage for the power contacts.

LED signal (L1)
On the front, in the bottom right-hand corner, an optical signal is visible, which is normally switched off
but flashes rapidly when the device is put into programming mode.
Alarm signalling LED (Ls)
On the front, in the centre of the button, a red indicator light, active only with auxiliary power supply,
illuminates a customisable symbol (supplied); the LED follows the status of the device:

Installation and Maintenance Rules
Installation and maintenance must be carried out by qualified personnel observing
the current regulations governing the installation and maintenance of electrical equipment in the country
where the products are installed.
• Before working on the system, disconnect the power using the main switch
• This device complies with the relevant standard in terms of electrical safety, when it is installed in
flush-mounted or wall-mounted boxes fitted with suitable brackets and plates S.44 (or S.45 with
adapter).
• The device must be installed in flush-mounted or wall-mounted boxes with its corresponding brack-
ets and plates, in a suitable position for correct room temperature detection, avoiding installation in
compartments, behind doors and curtains or in areas affected by heat or atmospheric factors; in
particular installation on perimeter walls or in combination with heat-generating appliances should
be avoided.
• If this device is used for purposes not specified by the manufacturer, the protection provided may
be compromised.
WEEE - Information for users
The crossed-out bin symbol on the appliance or on its packaging indicates that, at the end of
its life, the product must be collected separately from other waste. The user must therefore deliver
the equipment to appropriate separate collection centres for electrotechnical and electronic waste.
Alternatively, the equipment can be handed over, free of charge, to the distributer when a new piece
of equivalent equipment is purchased. Distributors of electronic products with a sales area of at least
400 m
can also deliver electronic products to be disposed of with a size of less than 25 cm free of
2
charge, with no obligation to purchase. An efficient separate waste collection leading to the subsequent
recycling of the disused appliance, or disposal compatible with the environment contributes to avoiding
negative effects on the environment and health and favours the re-use and/or recycling of the materials
which the components of the appliance are made of.
Operation
The device is equipped with function 1 only to manage the pump lockout with related alarm indication,
which occurs upon reception of high humidity (H) threshold exceedance frames from all associated
44xABTMH-SO devices. Resetting the alarm and restoring alarm status is only possible manually by
pressing the local button, which causes the relay to close again (restoring power to the pump).
