Modes of operation
■
The chronothermostat has 4 different modes of operation — Ma-
nual, Automatic, Holiday and Jolly - and the OFF mode.
Manual operation mode
When using the Manual operation mode, the chronothermostat
adjusts the operation of the heating or cooling system so that
the same temperature will be kept at all times. Press MAN to
select Manual.
During operation, the level
of the temperature can be
changed by using the bottom
rotating selector switch located
on the right side of the chro-
nothermostat. The temperature
can be changed from 2 to 40°C,
with 0.1°C intervals.
Automatic operation mode
When using the Automatic operation mode, the chronothermostat
adjusts the operation of the heating or cooling system by following
the profiles determined for the different days of the week. Press
AUTO to select Automatic.
During operation, with the rotating selector switches located on
the right side of the chronothermostat, the three levels of tem-
perature used can be changed.
Temperature T3 cannot be lower than temperature T2 or higher
than 40°C.
Basic operation
In summer mode, temperature T3 has a top limit equal to 30°C.
When this value is exceeded, T3 is set to OFF which means that
the system will be switched off.
Temperature T2 cannot be higher than temperature T3 or lower
than temperature T1.
Temperature T1 cannot be higher than temperature T2 or lower
than 2°C.
If no customization has been performed, the automatic operation
mode will work with the stored temperature profiles: default (see
«Preset Programmes»). To customize profiles, see «Chronother-
mostat programming».
Holiday operation mode
When using the Holiday operation mode, the chronothermostat
adjusts the operation of the heating or cooling system by following
one temperature profile, applicable for every day. Press HOLIDAY
to select Holiday.
To change the temperature levels, see the description of the Au-
tomatic functioning mode. When the default programs are used
(see «Preset programs»), Holiday follows the profile intended
for Saturday and Sunday. To create a personalized Holiday pro-
gram, see «Chronothermostat programming».
