Programming mode
Barcode length lock (supports most type 6 barcode length locking)
Adding simple lock to the barcode length:
Example 1
The length of the lock-CODE-128 is 10. The value of the code 128 is 083
(see "Barcodes" table at the end of this manual).
1.
Scan the "Programming mode on / off" code, allow the device to
enter the programming mode.
2.
Scan "Barcode length 1".
3.
Scan the code value "0"-"1"-"0" one after the other (for length 10).
4.
Scan "Code Type value 1"
5.
Code value "0"-"8"-"3" one after the other (for barcode code-128).
6.
Scan the "programming mode on / off code", to exit the program-
ming mode.
Adding Multi-Barcode length lock
Example 2
1.
Scan the "Programming mode on / off" code, allow the device to
enter the programming mode.
2.
Scan "Barcode length 1".
3.
Scan the code value "0"-"1"-"0" one after the other (for length 10).
4.
Scan "Code Type value 1".
5.
Scan the code value one after the other.
6.
Code value "0"-"8"-"3" one after the other (for barcode code-128).
7.
Scan "Code Type value 2".
8.
Code value "0"-"8"-"4" one after the other (for barcode code-93).
9.
Scan the "programming mode on / off code", to exit the program-
ming mode.
