Solar Operation
Note: The solar panel on this fixture is finished
with a PET lamination process to reduce
degradation from UV light. Periodically inspect
the surface of the solar panel and wipe away
any dirt or debris with a damp cloth.
PROBLEM

ENGLISH INSTRUCTIONS
The light is activated when the motion sensor detects movement. The sensor detects
motion in a 130° coverage zone for up to 30 feet. The sensor is most e ective from
side-to-side motion, rather than motion coming straight at it (in-and-out). The "time on"
for the light is 30 seconds after each time motion is detected during night hours.
Extreme hot or cold weather could a ect the performance of the built-in sensors
which detect body heat. Certain winter clothing can shield a person's body heat from

the sensor during extreme cold weather. During extreme hot weather, the sensor
may not be able to distinguish the di erence between normal body temperatures and
the surrounding high temperatures. The sensor will begin working normally once
weather conditions return to normal.
Manual Operation
This fixture uses a
0.25w Solar Panel,
which charges the
battery for optimal
night lighting. For the
best results, place
fixture in a sunny spot
with little shade.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
POSSIBLE CAUSE
1. Motion sensor may be picking up continuous
flow of warm air (dryer vent, car exhaust, etc.).
2. Motion sensor may be triggered by a small
animal or passing car.
1. Light may be installed in a shadow or dark area.
1. Light is installed too close to other light source
(wall light, street light, etc.).
2. Battery may be out of charge.
3. Fixture may be set to o .
4. Movement is taking place outside of the motion
sensor detection area.
5. Battery may be defective or depleted.

Insert post onto the ground stake.

First Press:
Turns fixture on.
Second Press:
Changes the
light to the
strobe function.

1. Remove heat source from detection zone or move fixture to new location.
2. Light is operating as it was designed.
1. Move light to area with higher ambient light.
1. Move light to area with lower ambient light.
2. Wait until the next daylight cycle and ensure solar panel receives continuous
sunlight.
3. Press button on bottom of fixture to cycle light from o to on setting or strobe
setting.
4. Move fixture closer to the desired detection area.
5. Remove screws on the backside of the fixture and replace the battery.

Place security light on top of post
and push down gently.
Replace Battery
Remove the six screws from the
back panel. Replace using only a
3.7v 18650 Li-ion battery.
