4. If the multimeter has an overload on the mA input socket, the fuse blows. In this case, replace it with
another one having the same characteristics. The size of the fuse is: Φ 5x20 F 0.5A/500V
5. The maximum current for the 10A function is 10A. Warning: in this case do not measure more than
10 seconds at a time. After the test wait 15 minutes for the temperature to drop.
How to measure resistanceΩ
1. To avoid damage to the multimeter when measuring resistance, disconnect the power supply to the
device under test and make sure that the capacitors are not charged
2. The display needs a few seconds to become stable when the resistance value is above 1MΩ.
3. If the display shows "1", it means that the selected range is overloaded and it is therefore necessary
to set a higher range.
How to measure diodes
1. To avoid damage to the multimeter when measuring resistance, disconnect the power supply to the
device under test and make sure that the capacitors are not charged
When measuring the voltage drop of a diode, transistor, and other diode-functioning
2.
semiconductors, their silicone construction should provide a normal positive reading between 0.5V
and 0.8V. The display "1" means the diode is reversed.
How to use the buzzer
If there is continuity (resistance less than 50 Ω) the buzzer will be heard.
