MANUAL OF INSTRUCTIONS
Removal and repair set of glow plug threads to 8 and 10mm plugs.
Useful for M8x1.0 threaded plugs or M10x1.0.
The set includes all the necessary adapters for centering and cleaning thread safely remove without
damaging the cylinder head.
The body of the thread is broken at this point.
Before starting work:
It is recommended that the cylinder head is removed from the engine before starting work. If the
cylinder head is forced to remain within the same, remove the injectors and connect an air line throu-
gh an adapter to ensure that small debris from getting into the combustion chamber.
1.
Key part number 4 in the top of the spark plug (should probably fix it by tapping with a hammer).
2.
Using a ratchet 3/8 ", turn in the direction of clockwise to break the top of the glow plug.
NOTE: When the top of the plug is broken, it can remain engaged electrode located inside.
If the electrode is not broken, it can be removed completely. In this case, skip to step 5, if no,
proceed to step 3.
3.
Insert centering chisels (8) in the remainder of spark plug. You may need a few blows with the
hammer.
4.
Using the 3.5mm drill (10), make a hole in the remaining parts of the connector / electrode pole.
Drill a hole of 15mm from the top of the plug body.
5.
Secure the climbing bit M8 (6) or M10 (7) (depending on the size of the spark plug) to the adap-
ter (2). Secure the drill adapter by Allen wrench (5), ensuring that the screw acting on the flat
part of the pin bit. Use a drill to remove the parts of the electrode is still on the plug.
Climbing drill two measures allows removing the remains of the electrode and simultaneously re-
moving the threaded portion of the plug body. Try to keep the rectum to the threads on the cylinder
head are not damaged drill. Drill 15mm to pull the threads.
6.
Take the M8 or M10 head (9) and tighten the ratchet T provided (1). Clean the threads of the
cylinder head. Cover fat tip for better performance and to avoid the shedding of particles due
to friction.
7.
Take the coil and use the buzzer in T. Make a thread in the remaining part of the body of the
plug. Again the tip vibrates fat to lubricate and prevent landslides. Make 15mm thread. The
remains of the body of the spark plug can be removed.
8.
