Operating instructions
Intended use
Self-levelling cross lasers are instruments
for the determination of vertical and horizon-
tal lines in the do-it-yourself sector. It can be
used in internal zones.
This instrument is not intended for commer-
cial applications.
Specific safety instructions for
lasers
Do not look into the laser beam!
according to EN 60825-1:2007

ATTENTION: Avoid direct eye contact
with the laser beam. We recommend the
use of laser goggles when operating the
laser.
• Make sure that the laser beam is not
reflected by objects.
• Do not look into the laser beam with
optical devices such as magnifiers.
• Never direct the laser beam on human
beings or animals. Keep children away
from the tool.
• Only use self-levelling lasers in
compliance with these operating
instructions.
• Self-levelling lasers do not include any
service parts. Repairs on the laser unit
may only be accomplished by
qualified specialists.

Inserting batteries
• Open the lid of the battery compartment
at the rear side of the device.
• Insert the batteries according to the
applied "+" and "–" markings, and close
the lid of the battery compartment.
• When replacing batteries, always replace
both batteries.
• Remove batteries if you intend to store
the self-levelling cross laser for a longer
period without using it. Leakage danger!
Attention: Do not dispose of old batteries in
the household waste but in appro-
priate collection points according to
the local provisions!
